When I first met Jennifer for her Secret Session, I sort of had that feeling that I had known her for a long time. You know the feeling. Like, conversation is easy and fun and everything just clicks! Well, that was Jennifer for sure. I had such a great time taking her picture. We laughed a lot and thoroughly enjoyed the BEAUTIFUL crisp morning we happened to stumble upon in the midst of a clump of rainy days.
At the start of our session, I couldn’t help but notice Jennifer’s freckles. Now, let me just tell you that I LOVE freckles. When I was little I always wanted them. Sometimes I would look hopefully in the mirror at my nose very closely and think, “Hey! Could that be a freckle????” It never was. Sigh. So, when I noticed Jennifer’s freckles I got very excited and about halfway through the session I confessed to her how much I loved taking pictures of people with freckles. I think she thought I was crazy…and told me how she used to try to cover them UP when she was little! We always want what we don’t have…isn’t that right?
