corie + aaron {engagement}

If I could choose one word to describe this engagement session it would be: sunshine.  And not just because we were drenched in the most gorgeous sunset ever, or because the canola field was full of buttery blooms tilting their heads toward the sky to drink in the last drops of sunlight…nope not just for those reasons.  The main reason is because Corie and Aaron are such a gorgeous couple, full of this sunshine that just seems to burst from within them.  They are just so calm and sweet and I could catch little glimpses here and there of the deep love they have for each other.  They were SUCH a joy to capture this afternoon!

Corie and Aaron have a terribly romantic love story that culminated in one of the most amazing proposals I’ve ever heard of.  Like, it literally brought tears to my eyes when I heard about it.  When they were dating Aaron would always ask Corie, “So, would you live with me even if it was in a cardboard box?”  And of course, Corie would answer yes.  So, with lots and lots of planning, Aaron actually BUILT a little house made of cardboard, on the roof of a building, complete with windows and a door and furniture inside.  I’m talking about chairs and lamps and pictures on the wall!  He proposed to Corie in that little cardboard box she always said she’d live with him in:)  So, sweet.  Of course, I’m sure they aren’t REALLY planning to live in that box once they’re married this summer…um, right guys?
